In a large bowl, use a whisk to incorporate the flour, salt, and baking powder. This is important, you don't want to get a chunk of sour baking powder in your first bite!
Throw in chunks of butter and work it through the flour with your hands until it's all incorporated and has a soft crumb-like texture
Make a well in the middle of your flour/butter mixture and pour the warm water.
With a greased mixing utensil, mix until the dough starts to come together.
Then, use your hands to knead into a ball. Just a minute is all it takes.
Cut the ball in half, the two sides in half, and then the four pieces in half. That should get you 8 roughly even pieces.
Roll into balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
